<title>Senior Datawarehouse Project Manager</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em>Posting by PM, Monday, October 05, 2009, 09:45:</em></p><p><p>I have a contract at one the major banks to manage a large Datawareshouse for a Bank in Downtown Toronto, and was wondering if you knew anyone.</p>
<p>MUST HAVE: Experience in Managing large Datawarehouse project in a BANk - Minimum 4 years (in a Banking Environment), with Total PM experience for atleast 10 years. Solution Architect on both the build, Business Intelligence and Reporting is a MUST!!<br />
To build a back office technology process to address accounting, reconciliation, P&amp;L, MIS reporting solution to address the multiple source systems and outputs. Candidate will require accounting knowledge and Capital Markets experience (should have).. <br />
The incumbent must possess a solid understanding of systems development techniques, including requirements specification and testing methodologies, real-time analytical and formal modeling tools, and keep current with rapidly changing technology. Further, the incumbent must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and exercise diplomacy and judgment, to effectively work with end users from the Front, Middle and Back Offices, and members of the project team. <br />
Independently resolve complex, multifaceted problems to meet the business needs of the BANK, and the IT deprartment, by applying their financial and technological knowledge to the design of methodologies, models, and/or systems solutions. This may involve rapid prototyping, with requirements and solutions developed on an iterative basis, which provides interim deliverables until a final production solution is created. This includes conducting research and analysis, accurately and clearly defining user requirements and processes, and liaising with the users. <br />
Manage multiple medium and large sized projects and/or manage specific sections of large projects to implement solutions to business problems. This involves planning and scheduling resources, developing detailed project plans, monitoring progress against planned objectives, financial review, and securing consensus and cooperation from users and senior management. <br />
Participate in the systems implementation process by defining business requirements and processes, preparing business cases, developing test strategies and test cases, performing testing, defining user procedures and workflows, developing conversion and implementation strategies, verifying conversion, providing user documentation, providing user training, and providing post-implementation support</p>
