Engineering Graphics Technician

Through your own research and data collection and working closely with our survey and design teams, you will create both preliminary and detailed drawings for road reconstruction as well as prepare contract documents and cost estimates. In addition to this design function, you will provide counter/telephone support and engineering information to consultants, contractors, real estate agents, and the public as necessary. You will also be responsible for other administrative duties including the maintenance of engineering drawing files.

Your post-secondary diploma in civil engineering technology or the equivalent is supported by at least two years’ practical experience in surveying and design and inspection procedures along with a solid understanding of civil engineering technical terms. You are eligible for registration as a C.Tech with the OACETT and have strong computer skills particularly with AutoCAD Release 2007. Further experience with Autodesk Land Desktop and Civil 3D would be a definite asset. Your diverse talents include strong customer service skills, a willingness to work effectively in a team environment, and proven problem-solving abilities.

Salary range: $43,660 to $54,574 per annum (under review)
