Male student arrested after gun scare at high school.
One person is in custody following a gun scare at a Waterloo high school yesterday. Police said they received a call from school staff saying a male, believed to be a student, allegedly pointed a gun at another student at Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary School over the noon hour. Police arrested a male in a neighbourhood near the Laurelwood Drive school. No gun was found, and the school didn't go into lockdown.
